Professor Douglas Berman has an amusing post on a D.C. Circuit Court opinion where they approved a six-month prison sentence for a defendant who uttered the f-word at a judge shortly after sentencing. The prisoner was charged with contempt and originally sentenced to a year in prison for the display of vulgarity.
